"Fireproof " is a misnomer, but I figure a little more protections can't hurt

I was very interested in this because for years I have started to pack all our important documents in a little plastic expanding folio to have in case we ever have to evacuate suddenly (like we've seen these last few years because of wildfires) so I figured why not have a little more protection than "none" that the plastic folio provides. The material is thick and the zippers are heavy duty, albeit not that smooth. It looks like a silicon coating of some sort that is how they call it fireproof. I considered putting my propane torch to it (at least for a second or two) but then I thought is it really worth it to possible ruining it just to test it? Its not like i plan in using this as a fire safe. so I didn't, but I still think about it every now and then, maybe just over flame from the stove maybe?Anyways, Overall its a good idea and extra protection can't hurt. Be aware there is the slightly tacky feel you get from silicone, but other then that no real complaints, except for the overselling the "Fireproof" on the listing, I feel that's a little dishonest.
