I first bought 2 KitchenAid scissors (for my kitchen. Big mistake) which proved to be rust resistant. Yes, I understand that steel is easier to sharpen, but with the "kitchen" name on the scissors, you'd think the manufacturer understood that they must be wiped dry after each use or they will rust. a lot at once. I currently have KitchenAids in my basement (rename them BasementAid, ShopAid, or just RustyMess). Anyway, I replaced the KitchenAids with 2 new "stainless steel" Xacto scissors that were perfect (and still sharp) last year. They look just like the beautiful KitchenAids. but I can use them in my kitchen!
