Kitchen insert - cutting tools

Very good for cleaning turkey, chicken and fish, even with big fish, I tried with a big head Like a fish it was sharp, strong and didn't rust even after leaving it in the water for several days. Recommendations: - Big fish need strong hands - Wash with soap and water after each use, dry immediately. - For kitchen use, lubricate it with olive oil for longevity. Thanks

Pros
  • Consists of strong X-ACTO 3 mm stainless steel blades for precise cutting over long periods of time
Cons
  • Without automatic

True to the X-Acto name and quality.

These are very good all-purpose scissors. Very sharp. I bought these to replace several types of discount stores that barely cut plastic bags. I buy 3 different brands to compare with the cheap ones and this one performed best so I bought 2 more and got rid of the discounts. X-Acto is a brand I have used for over 70 years and these scissors live up to their name!

Pros
  • The perfect pair of scissors for your study, workshop, wastebasket or office drawer
Cons
  • Durability

Cuts well and is of good quality

This scissors big! The blades are sharp and will cut a variety of materials. I had trouble cutting the Naugahyde fabric used to cover the seat foam. Ordinary good fabric scissors struggled to cut it. These scissors cut the Naugahyde like thin paper. I've also used it on plastic window screen stock. He also went through the screen footage. I wish I had had those years ago.

Pros
  • Ideal for cutting a wide range of materials including paper and heavyweight cardstock, cardboard, burlap, denim, felt, cork, leather, plastic, ribbon magnets, aluminum wire (up to 12 gauge)
Cons
  • Requires socket

KitchenAid scissors sent to the basement. I love my new Xactos.

I first bought 2 KitchenAid scissors (for my kitchen. Big mistake) which proved to be rust resistant. Yes, I understand that steel is easier to sharpen, but with the "kitchen" name on the scissors, you'd think the manufacturer understood that they must be wiped dry after each use or they will rust. a lot at once. I currently have KitchenAids in my basement (rename them BasementAid, ShopAid, or just RustyMess). Anyway, I replaced the KitchenAids with 2 new "stainless steel" Xacto scissors that…

Pros
  • Made with 3mm diameter X-ACTO stainless steel blades for long lasting precision cutting
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Incredibly sharp but incredibly uncomfortable

Surprisingly sharp scissors but they are so uncomfortable I can't use them. I use these scissors almost every day to cut leather. I used to use Tandy leather scissors (red) but decided to try something else as the red pair fades quickly. Xacto scissors cut like a dream, but they're definitely not designed for comfort. The finger slots (technical name?) are way smaller than any pair of scissors I've ever used and it's so much discomfort for me, even with small to medium women's hands. In the…

Pros
  • Large symmetric handles for left and right handed people
Cons
  • Without automatic scissors
