The cutter they sent WILL NOT cut a circle small enough to match the size of the mylar included and required to make the 1 inch buttons.The cutter included is also a pain to use because it likes to slip after about 75% of the circle is cut, but I can work around that. I cannot work around the fact that the circles are too big to fit into the machine and I have the cutter set at the smallest setting. This stemmed cylinder is supposed to fit into the press to make the buttons. Unfortunately the one I received has a stem that is too large and will not fit into the press barrel with the notches lined up no matter how much pressure you put on it. We had a lot of trial and error with this machine, for 3 days. we finally got it to work, but we needed to adjust the coils underneath, adjust the metal pieces in the back so the switch would move, and the main problem was that your image needed to be slightly smaller than the mylar (clear rounds) in order for it to crimp down on the button correctly. We use a hole punch for our buttons and purchased a 1 3/4 size to have it work correctly. Anything smaller and it won't hold the plastic backing…

This button maker is very easy to use and a great value. It is very helpful to have so many supplies included. We found that putting the art on the shield first helps to keep it in place (static electricity works wonders). My kids are having a blast making buttons to give away at festival.

Didn't work, tried and tried and couldn't get a button to work. Watched YouTube videos and tried and tried more, and finally gave up. I've owned other badge makers and they worked easily, we got a used Tecre and it works so easily. This just wasn't made well enough to attach the pieces together. And the plastic backs felt really cheap, my daughter didn't think she could sell them for as much if they had worked.

My beamnova button maker 75mm must have been a defective. 3 out if 10 buttons would come out ok. But I had to literally take me time aligning the base to top before pulling lever. I went through at least 40 attempts with this thing and couldn't make a single button. Yes I made sure I only had one piece of mylar, was using regular paper (not photo or anything thick), and everything was lined up correctly, but the fronts would not make contact with the backs, no matter what I did. Using more or less force didn't matter. I even tried adding a second pin back to the die to add more height, which allowed the front and back to (somewhat) connect, but even those buttons were…

I bought this as a gift and was concerned that it wouldn't work out of the box. No need to worry as it worked very well and continues to work great. Made about 30 or so buttons so far. It will take a long time to get through all of the included button materials. Just watch videos on similar units and pay close attention to how many clear button cover slips you pull off (too easy to get more than 1).

I did everything per instructions but over 3/4 of my badges are being bent flat when applying the backing.(This is their 1 1/4" machine which is no longer listed on Revain!)I do note the area that is not crimped properly is always the same area so this would imply the die has a defect. I’ve made about 50 buttons (with a lot of wasted ones), 4 months and now it’s broken. Thanks for attention! Don’t waste your money.

Edit: This does work. it took several hours of trying to figure it out. the instructions in the box fail to mention how the dies need to be twisted at each interval for it to work.Does not work as advertised. The pieces do not work together. Unfortunately for me I left it on my desk too long so now I can’t return it.

This badge maker is terrific. Be aware: the backings for the badges are plastic and not metal, and I haven’t found metal backings for it yet.

Would have given 5 stars but the cutter broke the first try so we have to had cut each image. Also, there the holes drilled in the mount base are the same size as the screws and one of the screws won't thread to the base. But, the machine works fine anyway.

There are no compatible circle cutters/punches to be found in U.S. The paper cutter included in the button maker set is cheap and broke after a few uses (blade fell right out). The only cutters I found that would work ship from China with exorbitant shipping fees. If you are going to want to use a paper punch, get a button maker with U.S. compatible sizes. Specifics: makes a 44 mm pin, which needs 54 mm paper circle (2 1/8').

I absolutely love this BUT it did not come with the base and cannot get ahold of the manufacturer for a replacement. That's my feedback!

The item was easy to build, even though it was a bit troublesome to make it work at the beginning, ended up working great. However I do recommend to make the images bigger than 1.25in. As it does not cover the whole button at the moment of making it.
