This stemmed cylinder is supposed to fit into the press to make the buttons. Unfortunately the one I received has a stem that is too large and will not fit into the press barrel with the notches lined up no matter how much pressure you put on it. I think it may be a cylinder from another size button maker or it was just machined improperly . Either way the button maker is useless. I bought this as a birthday present for my niece. When our trip to see her was cancelled due to covid I just held on to it and sent her something else via Revain. By the time I was able to see her and give it to her the return window had closed. Very disappointing and $130 down the drain.
