Great tool but gets rusty

This is a great tool, it’s also very sharp so you can score tape without having to grab a knife. I’ve had mine for about 4 months and it’s getting rusty, I wash it pretty often because I scrape my excess paint off with it. My co-workers’ 5-in1’s are all different brands and maybe don’t seem as useful but also seem to be holding up a little better.

Pros
  • Great tool to have around the house. Excellent quality. Highly recommend.
Cons
  • Nice tool, but disappointed it broke in less than two months of use.

Versatile tool - my new review

The tool has worked great. Is very handy for multiple uses. Scrapes, pries behind a backsplash I was removing. Many more uses I haven't even needed yet.

Pros
  • Easy to get weak tools purchased online. This is not one of those.
Cons
  • Higher cost compared to basic paint scrapers

Excellent Tool after Delivery Hiccup however promptly resolved

Original Bubble Mailer Package delivered was empty and did not appear to have ever been sealed. 9 in 1 Tool was replaced quickly. The 9 In 1 Tool was excellent but could not provide 5 Stars due to original empty package delivery.

Pros
  • It worked great to help me remove paint from surfaces, open the paint can and clean paint from a roller.
Cons
  • Heavy tool may cause hand and wrist fatigue during prolonged use

Solid tang from tip to end of handle

Did my research. One of the few with a solid tang from the tip all the wat to the end of the handle. For scraping prying and cleaning excess paint off rollers excellent choice. Now you can get the swiss army version of one of these, but why bother. 14 in 1 etc but. I don't need a nut hole or some of that other stuff. Ive got actual tool sets for all of those possibilities besides that just weakens the blade. After a lot of research this quality tool with no bells & whistles was my choice. Ive…

Pros
  • It is a sharp tool. Very well made and wouldpurchase this to again.
Cons
  • Difficult to store due to larger size

Helpful tool for my opinion

Really helped with the painting I recently did. The roll cleaner part works great to clean excess paint off the rollers. It also worked well when I cleaned the rollers after I was done painting. The part to open the can works well too.

Pros
  • Great tool. Holding up well. Just need to learn all of the functions. I’ve likely only used 3 of the 9.
Cons
  • Could potentially damage drywall or plaster if not used with care

Great little tool in my review

This was a game changer when removing an old kitchen backsplash. I was amazed how durable it is. I was banging on it with a hammer to remove old stone tile and it held up well. Get one if you need one.I have used it numerous others times as well

Pros
  • Held up well being used for things it probably wasn't designed for.
Cons
  • Paint can build up quickly on tool and require frequent cleaning

Starting to rust quickly

Really well built, sturdy. But, started having rust spots almost immediately. If you're more careful and wipe it dry after washing, should last for a long time

Pros
  • This is a versatile tool for drywall and painting. Comes in handy.
Cons
  • Right on the sticker it says its made in China.

Great multi use tool

This multi tool is time saving. Purchased for myself as a school custodian. I have opened paint cans, scraped off unwanted stickers, scraping gum, paint chips, etc.

Pros
  • Works great, a Dewalt tool for $2 less if you don't mind a different color
Cons
  • Hardened carbon steel blade may rust if not maintained properly

Carbon Steel?: my feedback

Is nice tool to use and everything, but carbon steel? Not so sure, its pretty flimsy compared to even the one I got from walmart for 5 bucks. I like it but thought it was going to be a lot stronger.

Pros
  • Works great
Cons
  • Hardened carbon steel may cause sparks if used near flammable materials

Buy this! It’s worth it!

Bought this after seeing one a professional painter used. I used it a lot more than I thought I would while I was painting the interior of my house. Highly recommend!

Pros
  • Well made and serves many purposes.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to clean thoroughly

It's a paint tool best in my review

Works great on so many things. I've used it as a paint can opener, flat head, bottle opener, paint scraper, caulk remover, pry tool, "straight edge," used the blunt end as a hammer. I was worried it would easily bend or dull like many other off brand products but I am surprised it's kept up. The nail pry tool is the only thing I'm gonna say no to. It puts too much stress on the "blade" and doesn't really assist unless you're using some sort of support underneath

Pros
  • Great tool. Just cheap feeling.
Cons
  • May not work as well on curves or uneven surfaces

One of the Best Tools

Saw this tool in a YouTube video about how versatile it can be and no lie, it rocks! So many uses around the house and yard - worth every cent!

Pros
  • I like this product, very easy to use and very useful
Cons
  • Could be dangerous if accidentally dropped on toes or other body parts

Photo can be misleading

Photo can be misleading Don’t think about hitting it with a hammer or any other man work. There is a silver plastic cap at the very end of tool.I thought it was metal so you’ll be able to do half the work he usually would’ve done Wish I could hit it with a hammer darn it

Pros
  • Heavy duty and very versatile.
Cons
  • May scratch delicate surfaces

Blunt blade, Not chiseled or sharp

The end of the blade on this tool is squared off and blunt. It’s not chiseled to provide a sharp edge to get under and scrape things like paint. Returned!

Pros
  • Buy with confidence. This tool has it all!
Cons
  • Could potentially damage nearby objects or furniture during use

Best 5-in-1 ive used

Great for all sorts of uses. Nice thing about LEVEL5 is that they didn't hire an idiot to design their labels. Their labels peel right off with little or no residue. Other brands are utter garbage with respect to nasty adhesive labels that wont come off. Minor nitpick till it happens to you. On a good note, the metal is ultra high quality; handle is very grippy and thick; pommel makes great dents in drywall. Even comes with a bottle opener. HIGHLY recommend!

Pros
  • Good quality made well.
Cons
  • Blade may not hold up well under heavy usage

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Heavy, solid, well made, nice addition to any tool belt.

This is a quality tool. Very pleased with the paint can opener. And the ability to pry off molding without damage. It’s thin but doesn’t bend easily.

Pros
  • It is carbon steel but sharp enough to get her paint
Cons
  • Must be used with caution to avoid accidentally cutting or scraping skin

Knife edge is unusable

Could be great. Very strong and stiff tool. But the knife edge was not ground down to a sharp edge. The grind was shallow and ended up with a blunt edge too think to cut anything. I expect this is a manufacturing defect.

Pros
  • Super quality, wow grate tool.
Cons
  • May not fit comfortably in smaller hands

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Cheap Handle for my opinion

The blade is ok for the price, works fine as a scraper, beyond that it would bend if you tried to pry anything with it. The handle is my biggest complaint. Loose fitting and feels so cheap. Rattles in your hand. I cant see it lasting long. Spend a few more dollars and get something that will last.

Pros
  • Great...sturdy and gets the job done!
Cons
  • May not be able to reach tight spaces

Hate that I have to give it a 3 but….

This painters tool is very strong. Honestly the strongest one I’ve come across. In my opinion it’s stronger then the purdy… but the end where the metal cap is came off! After about a month of use. I’m constantly scraping off old caulk and I hit the end with my hammer. With out the metal end it’s almost useless. I’ve tried using it without but hammer pops off and I’ve hit my hand a couple times! Like I said it’s an awesome product and this flaw could be easily resolved so maybe they can attach…

Pros
  • I purchased this for my husband and he loves it… Uses it for everything! Great tool.
Cons
  • Not suitable for use by children

Used to scrape off the grease off of a wok range

This thing is stiff and sharp, and gets the wok stands and wok range super clean. Super useful for getting grout clean on our floors as well.

Pros
  • Great item fast shipping
Cons
  • Blade may become warped or damaged if used on very hard surfaces
