So after reading other reviews, I was nervous about using this product; however, after using it.SO EASY! I had zero issues. I did what I could with the stencil in one piece and then I cut it to fit small or awkward spaces. Never any bleed through and very few touch ups needed. I did follow other reviewers wit their processes (tape to wall, roll on with foam roller, wait until dry and then move on). I get so many compliments on my powder room!

I LOVE this extra large stencil. Easy to work with but patience is KEY!Here are my tips:I found cleaning it after every 2nd use was ideal to keep the cleanest lines. DON’T use spray adhesive! Just use painters tape on the corners. Learned this the hard way this makes it incredibly hard to get tiny paint flecks off the back when you clean it. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the stencil to stay on the wall with painter tape. I tried and it just kept coming off. Now maybe my tape was bad somehow or you need something stronger - I just didn’t want to rip off the paint on my wall so I ended up just throwing the stencil away. It was a bummer. I’m also not a professional and I could have been doing something wrong on my end but I was bummed that I couldn’t use it.

I wanted to bring blue into my dining room but not in a block of color. The herringbone stencil was fantastic. It was easy to use without assistance and when I made mistakes, easy to fix with a little water and later, the small stencil which came with the Herringbone set. I love the size of this stencil. The design is just what I wanted. The negatives are that they put their logo and information on the top in cut out letters. I had to cover it with tape so it wasn't stenciled on my wall. It's probably user-error but, I couldn't get adhesive to work well. All in all, I would not stencil my wall again. Incredibly time consuming. I should have gone with wallpaper.

I liked the pattern & the "concept" of dressing up a wall easily. I taped them up to the wall with painter's tape. But, there is a knack to using these. The biggest problem is the paint running out of the plastic pattern and leaving uneven lines. With practice I eventually had success holding each cut out down and not using too much paint. Messier than I thought but it looks nice.

First of all, I love the way the stencil turned out but was it worth my time? No. 3-4 days it took to get this perfected. Lots of touch ups. Super time consuming! You need some type of reposition-able spray adhesive in order to get the stencil to stick the wall. I used one layer of mod podge first, let that dry and then did 2 layers of paint. This made achieving my ‘vision’ so easy and so much cheaper than wallpaper! We have a super textured wall so I was ok with static on the lines as long as it was consistent. Photo attached to show a close up of this, but if you’re expecting perfection this is not for you. I used repositionable spray adhesive specifically for stencils and it made it relatively simple! Did this project in about two hours, and LOVE the result.

These stencils are a room changer and so easy/quick to do. We receive a lot of compliments but everyone thinks it’s wallpaper. I bought these stencils for an accent wall and loved how they turned out so I did several walls with this herringbone pattern. My advice is to use a small paintbrush (like a brush for watercolor painting versus a wall paint brush) because you literally dab the lines. I’m a perfectionist, so this product really didn’t work for me. The lines looked okay from far away, but they weren’t crisp enough up close. Without a good amount of tape, I found the stencil wiggled a lot as I pressed down to help with any "blurry-ness” to the lines, even falling down. After using it a few times I decided I wouldn’t be able to live with it and just painted over the pattern. This stencil was very sturdy and reusable. I washed it in between a few uses just so the paint wouldn’t dry thick on it. I also used every other line to make the wall less busy. It turned out perfect for me. Easy to apply to the wall, just take your time and roll lightly so it doesn’t bleed underneath.

Loved the outcome! It took about three hours, mainly because my husband wouldn’t unhook the washer and dryer so I had to finagle around them while doing it. It definitely got harder to get into smaller spots, but I just cut the stencil into the sizes I needed it to be to fit. 10/10 would recommend. Totally transformed the room! Overall I loved how this turned out. Only a few bumps and bruises on the way. Few words of advice, I would clean the stencil off after every 2 columns. Once the layers of paint starts to get thick, the stencil just doesn’t work as properly. (I also read this on a few websites AFTER I finished). As you can see in the video, the bottom rows, which I did at the very end, needed the most touching up compared to the top rows. I’m a DIY beginner and this wasn’t too bad.

Once you get the hang of it, this is pretty easy. I used painters tape and then kept my left hand free so I could press the stencil to the wall as I painted each line. I love the look and it’s worth the extra time!

Love this stencil! It was strong and easy to use- stayed up with painters tape and was easy to align as I moved it around my room so I could stay straight! I loved how large it was so there was less moving around and by the time I’d finish a row the other side would be dry, making the project go faster. Would definitely recommend!

I wanted a simple, Scandinavian-style wallpaper but chose to go with the stencils instead. Definitely glad I did. I think it came out great. The template can get kind of messy, which is expected, and the reason I chose such a simple design.

Fairly easy to use. I did two walls one with white herringbone on blue wall and one with a medium blue herringbone on a ivory wall. The white herringbone was easier since the color was more forgiving, but overall both turned out great.

I used an adhesive spray which saved so much time! These stencils are so great and sturdy and are easy to line up! Gently use a small roller brush and Voilà!
