I thought this would save me time in painting the garage, but it has a huge overspray range. I’ve painted a LOT in my time with rollers and brushes. I didn’t need a perfect finish on the garage walls, so I though spraying would be faster. Even working close to the wall, there is a misty coating of paint literally all over the floor, adjacent walls, and even into the laundry room which is 4-5 feet away! Great sprayer, super simple to clean. Fine mist or focused spray settings. VERY FRUGAL WITH PAINT. Saw other comments where they had trouble with spitting or orange peeling, had same problem until I followed instructions and thinned paint. Problem went away immediately. Smooth as silk application from then on. Great value. Highly recommend!

It took me awhile to get used to this sprayer and that’s on me. Make sure the straw is pointed towards the front (paint container) so when your spraying and you tilt it, depending on if your spraying eye level or pointing it down, it will continue to spray. Cleaning was easy and it’s light to hold while painting. Now I’m excited to do more projects around the house.

I used this spray gun to paint my bathroom cabinets. It worked beautifully the first time around. Immediately after doing one round of paint I disassembled the gun and washed everything thoroughly. When I put it back together for round two it was a NIGHTMARE! The gun clogged every two seconds, I spent the vast majority of my time trying to get the dang thing unclogged. So incredibly frustrating! I eventually resorted back to using a hand roller. Moral of the story ….Don’t waste your money…

I'd like to mention that I hate painting. I took a chance on this as we were doing a porch ceiling with tongue and groove with a bead. After messing with diluting the paint, I was able to spray the ceiling without much effort though it does get a little heavy to hold up. I was amazed at how well it worked once I got it going. I also like the fact that I can clean it up in about 20 minutes versus a roller which can take forever. I would recommend getting a toothbrush or similar size brush to…

This works well for small projects (furniture, one wall, etc.), but I would not recommend it for larger ones. I used it to paint a room and the process was very slow going. It was faster then rolling, but definitely slower than the other paint sprayer I eventually purchased. It also required me to go over the room another time, whereas I did not have to do that with the other sprayer. I did keep this sprayer so I can use it for my smaller projects in the future.

this painter was amazing where do I start. let's start with what you should know. 1) clean clean clean. 2) make sure the material is thin enough. 3) clean after each use, between coats. 4) make sure you assembly back properly ie. bottle cap. 5) test more than one before you start. 6) filter your paint it can clogg from dried paint from can. 7) start with the lowest spray paint and gradually turn it up until your getting just enough to pass over 2 to 3 times and you wont have running paint.pros:

I've use hand held sprayers in the past that pumped the paint. I really like this gun. It's pretty easy to use and cleans up easy. You can soak the parts in a mild solution of soap and water. I spayed some Rustoleum on my car and soaked the parts in water and a small amount of Awesome, which I've always used for cleaning Latex. I did 2 coats thinning the second coat an additional amount. I bought this in January because I found the right price and knew I would need it to paint my garage later in the year. Because of weather related issues and time I finally got to use it. Works great. I was a little worried about coverage, because I was painting white on white and it was hard to see at first, but when it dried you sure could tell the difference. We bought this to paint our linen closet. It does a good job for both primer and paint. You have to be sure to not make the paint that runny. If you do, you may get 'drippage'. We attributed that to just us being a little inexperienced with using the spray gun. Once you get the hang of that, it works pretty well! I like this product. The paint sprayer is about as loud as a vacuum. Its also heavier than I expected. Over all it sprays very nicely, and evenly. Great buy for someone who doesn't care about the name brand and only needs it for small projects. I will definitely be recommending this to friends and family who are looking for a spray gun.

All in all, a great lightweight sprayer at a low price! Shipping was fast also. Had one issue that was an easy fix however, unit would not spray a single drop on first use, manual stated to verify vent hole was not plugged with paint on pickup tube, upon inspection I discovered that this vent hole didn’t exist on mine so I drilled my own vent hole (manufacture plant missed this), it did fix the sprayer. I bought this to do a small job of painting bathroom cabinets and drawers. After thinning out the paint at a 5/2 ratio with Floetrol, this sprayer did the job. I had to wipe the nozzle every couple of minutes with a damp towel but that wasn't a problem. I have compared it to a $200 Wagner that I used a week before on another small project and for the price, it is about 90% as good as the Wagner.

I was able to think my pain to a viscosity of 60-90 seconds and this sprayer worked just fine. Application was easy and it lays the paint on pretty well.
