You can't trust this hook! I believe this is a cheaper version of the older, better designed and made hooks. The hook part looks the same, but the inner pin is quite different. The old design has a thicker pin that curves down so it doesn't stick out of the wall like this style. I used this below style to hang a print in a 9 lb metal frame, they should hold up to 20 lbs. In less than 3 minutes he collapsed to the ground! Luckily it didn't break. I have several other styles on hand and have used them; no problem! If you care about what you put on the walls, stay away from it! Buy another style, I think they still make them; they work great.
