Review on AP Products 1212 13 024 1000 Monitor by Karoly Reddick

THIS ITEM IS REALLY TWO SENSORS although only one is shown in the photo. This is stated in the Q&A but is not clear in the description. It's one of those RVing conveniences that you don't really need when you have an automatic shifter, and yet when you have it, you wonder how you ever lived without it. It works exactly as advertised, with one exception: the washers needed to raise the propane tank to allow the sensor on the underside to clear the hard platform below. The ones included in this kit are made of rubber. They slide off the tank easily, making changing tanks a daunting task. I taped mine to the tank. But then the weight of the tank meant that the spacers broke after just a few days of driving. AP Products now manufactures a machined aluminum spacer that will hold securely to the tank and will not break, and will ship you a set of spacers free of charge upon request. But I am deducting a star (from an otherwise excellent product) for the inconvenience involved; It would be much better if aluminum spacers were included in the kit.
