I came here originally to purchase replacement Suspa struts for my truck tool box. They were $37 for a pair. I went to Suspas site and found the specs for their part number and found these here. The same specs but$20 a pair. I just installed them and they work great!

Wound up returning these. Ordered for my truck bed toolbox and they were too big. On me for not getting the right size. The one thing is the pic shows mounting hardware with these but there were none in the package.

These shocks worked perfectly on my Delta tool box. They're are so easy to install, took 1 minute to install. The lift support doesn't work well with heavier lids or doors.

Replaced the supports on a full size, aluminum tool box from Tractor Supply in a GMC pickup truck. I figured 35 lb. lift would be plenty. It will hold the lid open but when you unlatch the lid, it does not go up by itself. No big deal. Next time, if necessary, I'll buy the stronger model.

My husband tried to find a strut replacement for he Delta Toolbox in local stores with no luck. I suggested we try online and this part worked perfect!

The struts were exactly as described and fit perfect. I had a bit of an issue (my fault) when I went to pull the holding clip out to install the strut. I pulled it a little to far and the clip rotated in the ball. I had to get some pliers after it to get it rotated back in place. Lesson learned! Once that was back in place, install was easy.

I had to order over 60 of these… I had my handy man installed them. unfortunately when he finished. The cabinet door slams when it is 50% closed. 😞…. I just didn’t want to install something else. so I kept all of them!

Purchased for an aluminum bed toolbox on my 1st gen Tacoma. My instinct was that 2 35lb might be too much but it feels right and I am happy.I hope they last.

Original set was missing the hardware to install along with one of the struts was missing the clip on one of the ends. They saw my original review and actually reached out and sent me a new set with everything included. The struts work great!

I like everything about this lift support. I have clipped the tip off 2 or three rods with my old lift support. This 10 lb. lift is strong and hopefully will keep my rod tips on the rods.I also purchased the 35 lb. lift support for the large heavy back lid. It is a wonderful thing to be able to work with things in this compartment without the lid falling on my head!

Watch what you purchase. The ones online I am seeing indicate that the (in my case, 2002 Ford Explorer) uses a 14" hood strut. That is incorrect. The 14" is no where close to being able to fit. I measured my old ones and they came out to 10". These fit perfectly and held the hood up fine. No more bonking on the head. Decent price too. Would recommend.

Replaced the existing struts on my Ranger R83 boat storage compartments. Inexpensive alternative to other brands and worked perfect!
