A bit weak for a full size aluminum tool box.

Replaced the supports on a full size, aluminum tool box from Tractor Supply in a GMC pickup truck. I figured 35 lb. lift would be plenty. It will hold the lid open but when you unlatch the lid, it does not go up by itself. No big deal. Next time, if necessary, I'll buy the stronger model.
