This shoe had good and bad. We ordered the black ones and got the white ones, we just kept them to avoid the hassle. Our son is 6 years old and has special needs so we don't know how long he wore shoes with a sharp metal plate that was sticking out from the inside of the heel/achilles area due to compression when putting it on. felt TERRIBLE wearing them like that, it HAD to hurt like MFer! We were able to remove it, but that area was no longer supported. Also, they lasted a few months, I think he's had them for 4 months now.
