We live in PNW, bought these boots for our son and a pink set for our daughter as we are very active outside. Waterproof, breathable, comfortable, non-slip and very light for this type of shoes. When my son outgrew his last pair, we repurchased them for the next size up. I would recommend this shoe to any active parent to give to their child.

My kids usually wear a 7 and 9, I took an 8.5 (thinking she would grow to an 8) and a 9.5. Size 9.5 is great for my size 9 baby, size 8.5 is a bit big for a size 7 baby. I would say they are true to size. I love them, bought them for my kids to go camping with. They are comfortable, my kids don't complain about sore feet, they don't get blisters and my kids have really good traction when hiking!

I wear a size 5.5-6 in women's sneakers and a size 6 in women's boots. I usually wear size 4 children's shoes, so I bought these in size 4. At first I was very happy because I thought I found a cheap pair of waterproof running shoes for my son who loves to walk in puddles. I ordered it last November and just realized after a little over 2 months that there are 2 big holes in the bottom. I only found out about this after my son complained that his socks got wet just from walking on a rainy day. It's past the return period so I guess there's not much I can do.

I ordered a toddler size 7.5 a while back and my son finally grew up in them and they fit great. I have already tried three times to order a second pair and again ordered a 7.5 baby. and they were all different sizes, all less than 7.5 babies. The shoes are great but if you can't send the correct size they are useless.

The boot tongue is not sewn to the boot…. My children don't put their shoes on carefully, they throw themselves in their shoes to run out of the house. My son's shoe tongue would always stick out, leaving his toe open. Having waterproof shoes almost didn't matter. The shoes have very good treads, good quality velcro and the color options were amazing.

I chose this shoe because of the brown color. I wish it came in half sizes as 6 is slightly larger than 7.5 for women. This is my normal size but it's a bit wide. Even when transitioning to a thicker shock-absorbing insole. Will have to try thicker or double socks. But easy to put on and tighten.

These shoes are THE BEST. We had them in different sizes and my son loves them very much. They are suitable for hiking as well as for everyday use on the playground. They hold up exceptionally well compared to other little boy shoes and we actually give them to friends where his old shoes usually end up in the bin. Velcro holds up better than lace in my opinion. They wash well too.
