Poor quality laces and adjusters

UPDATE: The velcro stitching is coming undone, the "laces" are being removed and attached to the tongue, and I'm not sure if I can replace the regular laces. ORIGINAL: Sorry, our returns window is closed. I want to speak to the seller. My 7 year old has worn these shoes several times and both feet are showing unacceptable lace wear. Elastic laces on one side diverge exposing the entire inner elastic. The other shoe has a broken adjuster which is a big problem as it is the only way to tighten this type of shoe. Wouldn't pay that much for this poor quality. Otherwise, the outsole and profile of the shoes are good! Thanks Elli.
