Review on Pet Gear Signature Carrier 20 Pounds by David Royles

Revainrating 2 out of 5

It's ok, not very strong won't tear, top entry is a good idea

I bought this for my mum's cat over 1 year ago who weighs about 14lbs. It was easier to slip it through the top, but she immediately unzipped the top and ran out. I started using it on my 2 cats and immediately attached the zip ties to the 2 side zips so I only have to worry about them coming out through the top zip. I want every zipper to have some kind of lock! It's also not very educational. My 13 lb cat moves in it and when I wear it I feel like the bottom sags and the top flexes. You'd think so much net would be good for a cat! However, I would like to have a solid fabric on the mesh so I can cover it. I always take a blanket or jacket with me to put on a stretcher so cats can't see dogs and other cats when I'm at the vet clinic. I'm currently looking for a hard shell carrier. I thought a soft carrier would be easier for me to carry, but having a strong carrier that you don't have to worry about pets running away or falling on is far more important than an uncomfortable carrier or the need to have a hard one carry to stow. .
