I got 12 of these hairs for $17.88 and I have to say even at that price is a waste of money. I wanted to keep that to myself but now that I see that they have raised the price significantly I feel it is an ethical duty to warn people about what you are getting here. First, the packaging seems to outperform a potentially toxic jar any day, so I decided to give it a try in combination with some good ingredients; But my goodness, the amount of paste they put in each container makes the entire container a waste of materials and packaging. And that's all you pay for here, because you're hardly getting any real product in each of those squeezable plastic bags. Everyone says 3.5 ounces, but please don't assume you're getting 3.5 ounces of pasta out of each packet. For each 3.5 ounce serving, 1.3 to 1.7 ounces comes from the weight of the pouch itself (which is inedible), and also, due to the spout design, you won't be able to pull the entire contents out of the pouch. pouch no matter how good you are with your fingers; So you'll lose about 0.3 ounces more due to the bag/nozzle design, leaving thin pickles - about 1.3-1.6 ounces of paste if the paste is a smooth consistency; and as it happens, in many bags it is NOT. And that's the next major downside of the product and that's why I felt completely ripped off even for $17.88. About half to 3/5 of my 12 packs contained a paste that would not come out of the pack due to an unbalanced consistency; You push and all you get is muddy water with some bits in it. and then the super concentrated part that you really can't extract because it's too thick/hard (like all natural peanut and/or almond butter before you mix the oil into the really hard part). This was very disappointing, especially as they were already in a kennel for putting so little product in each bag (thereby creating an environmentally unfriendly product (because it creates so much garbage) ZERO stars while not starting to get at least a 7 put ounces in each bag and make the consistency smoother so it can actually come out of the bag and then it doesn't look like someone blew out (i.e., vomited) the pieces.
