Works as described, fits sockets and accessories

Use the Geeni app to connect it to a 2.4GHz WiFi network, but do the initial setup right next to the router. Once it's set up, you can move it to anywhere your WiFi can access, then add it to your home with the Alexa app and control it just by speaking to it. Easily rename and assign rooms/groups to improve performance. If you don't have Alexa, you can control it with the Geeni app on your phone, or in a pinch it has a switch on the side. Geeni says it works with Google and Cortana too, but I haven't tested that. The only downside is that it's a little larger than expected. It doesn't cover the other wall outlet, but you can't plug two of them into the same wall outlet. Maybe they should be oval (smaller height) instead of round.
