I have 12 Goldens and each of them has a universal reflective Rogz collar. There are several reasons why I like this collar: durability, high quality nylon, good choice of colors, but the most important is the "lock" function. He saved my little girl today! My dogs have a bad habit of grabbing each other's collars and dragging each other around the yard. Unfortunately, today the one she was wearing got her teeth stuck in the collar and started squirming in panic. Because of this the locking mechanism was in the off state so the collar came loose when the two panicked and both let go! One of my puppy families lost one of the two puppies they bought from me two years ago exactly the same scenario with a collar that wouldn't lock or unlock. A puppy with a tooth in its collar rolled over in such a way that it literally strangled another puppy. This happened in just a few minutes while the owner ran inside. From that day on I went in search of a safer collar to use myself and recommend to my clients. I found this Rogz collar, bought a pair and after some real world testing I liked it and ordered 10 more! I like the variety of colors (although they fade fairly quickly) and the variety of patterns. I'm online tonight to order a few more for some of the new puppies I will be importing over the next few months. One more thing, I like the reflective strips on the collars, especially since we're far out of town and don't have streetlights, so they're much easier to see when scanning with a flashlight at night.
