Absolutely beautiful blanket! Like all my Laura Ashley products, it's gorgeous and well made. I have 2 sets of Laura Ashley quilts along with matching light blue decorative bathroom roses. Unfortunately they don't make this style anymore and I wanted a nice blanket to sleep on. I love having a blanket over me when I sleep it feels so secure and although new blankets are very soft they are usually very light. I am very happy with the blanket and so glad I got it. The color is a medium china blue with white and goes very well with my blue interior. I've already washed it twice because initially it was a little stiff from folding and I like to break it up a bit. It's not super soft, it doesn't feel like Egyptian cotton or anything, it's more what I think a regular cotton blanket should be like. It's everything I wanted in a duvet: a nice, comfortable weighted cotton duvet.
