This was the second camera I bought. The first was the more expensive Samsung ST200F, which I was quick to return because the user interface was so clunky - it took a long time to get through the menus and options. This camera has consistently had good reviews so I decided to give it a try but wasn't expecting much given the price. I love it! This cheap little camera far exceeds my expectations, takes great pictures, has a touchscreen for quick menu access even in capture mode, and has lots of fun features. I've shot almost all of my Christmas photos in "toy camera mode," which gently darkens the edges and gives each photo a warm, nostalgic feel. Close-ups are crystal clear in most light sources, and the zoom is decent but not amazing. Stabilization is excellent even at the non-flash settings I use most, and my hands are very shaky with the camera. My only real complaint is the faint noise it makes when using the zoom. I almost sent it back the first day because of this, but after a trial run I really liked the pictures it takes. It looks like a great car with a neat horn. I'm not a master photographer, but for the average family these are great shots. You could spend a lot more on a family camera, but I think this model will do just as well. And the touchscreen is a lot of fun. Highly recommended!
