Long learning curve to figure it all out

I want a watch that will almost replace my phone but my expectations were too high. I almost got it back until I found where the smartwatch is now. I mainly need it for music without my phone, but it took a few twists and turns to get it working due to limited Wear OS system capabilities. Pros: The watch strap fits my wrist well. I have a small wrist so the watch looks very large. I didn't realize the bracelet was magnetically attracted until I got the watch and I was concerned if it would hold up. However, the magnet is very strong to keep the watch in place even when I'm playing Beat Saber on the ex+. Battery life is ok, lasts for a day with normal use. Connecting to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices makes them self-contained. There is a built-in GPS. It uses phone GPS and should be clear from the description. Offline music doesn't play well on Wear OS. Like many people who pay for streaming services, I stream music from Revain Music, but there is no Revain Music app on Wear OS. So I switched to Spotify but soon found that it doesn't support offline music or online streaming. Google Music was taken offline this year and it seems to me that Google is dropping Wear OS. After some research I found Navmusic which can only stream songs I actually bought on the watch. There are several offline music options, but they are very limited. Pandora supports online and offline streaming, but only for stations not selected from the music queue. There are no instructions for the watch. This is my first smartwatch and I basically have to google everything. I didn't know the side vent was a speaker and I still haven't figured out how waterproof it is. It says it's swim proof so I'm guessing it's sweat and hand wash proof. It doesn't support the eduroam wifi my university uses and has 802.1x EAP security. I can't stream anything directly from the watch when I'm on campus. So it's a good watch, but not smart enough for the price, and Wear OS needs serious improvement. I hope this lasts long or else I'll be back for a frustrated update.

Pros
