I was skeptical on the words "cooling" and "blanket" in the same sentence...But wow...the first time I did not wake up setting hot. Its heavy enough that you want to pull it up over your shoulders. I live in Kentucky...warm humid nights....but this preformed great. One side is a little cooler than the other...all I can say...a life saver. I had a super thin quilt made of cotton...too hot! This breathes and you don''t over heat! Excellent quality...washes well.....the instructions say to hang dry...but I have dried it twice on low...take out a little damp....beautiful colors too!
