Review on ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ SPT SF-612R: Powerful Evaporative Air Cooler with Innovative 3D Cooling Pad by Greg Simms

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So whether it was a good buy or not, let's see.

***updated 15-Aug-20**** So it started leaking out the back of the block next to the filter as people said so after I got in the filter area After looking around I found out what It looks like the filter is not installed on the rib which is designed to save space between the drain hole and the filter, it looks like the filter is only worn around the edges , so if the company just sold the filter to replace the old one, the problem would be solved (also the silver holder in the top left corner of the filter seems to have lost its holding power too), so on to my solution to the problem, so did I placed the plastic clothespin that I untied at the bottom of the filter area to lift the filter back out of the drain hole, the problem was solved, no more leaks so the leak turns out to be a design flaw of the fi lters out so it can be fixed because I fixed the problem with his page. I still give the SPT SF-612R evaporative air cooler 5 stars. Air cooler need to make it work great that you should just solve the problem from the beginning, put something to hold the filter to keep the blocking filter from falling off. Today is the first day with the SPT SF-612R evaporative air cooler. The cooler actually plugs in (the wheels are already attached). The SPT SF-612R Evaporative Air Cooler Remote Control did not come with a battery, so you need to purchase one. Check this out, there's a small section in the battery compartment that you clip into the wall, it opens very nicely. To my surprise, the water tank of the SPT SF-612R evaporative air cooler holds a lot of water. In the bath with shower head, the extra ice holder on the SPT SF-612R evaporative air cooler is much larger than shown (shocking) Now how it works First, it's more than an overpriced fan, it cools really well (but it's really something designed around you to cool, not your house) the buttons work great, the only odd thing was the directional vents that blow left to right when the button is pressed, but the up and down motion you have to control with your hand can do this Thing break so easily so be careful, the SPT SF-612R evaporative air cooler works all day and works great even at low speed. I think it's worth the money (I actually bought a four year warranty as a backup just in case) so for a total of $172.42 how could you go wrong with that like I said it's only a day so the crossing fingers will be updated over time ***UPDATE*** today 21st Aug 19 so far so good no leaks, works like day one. The only problem I had was trying to swap out the remote control. I had to contact ST to replace the remote and it cost $10. not bad but they wanted $10. Didn't like it at all (but the remote was damaged by an out-of-warranty furbaby), but Revain refunded me for a new remote until the next update.
