later, I assure you it's not so easy with Note 8 Larger Case + Pop Socket. I did a lot of research and read all the reviews so I felt comfortable with the purchase. That's a good mount. It's better than any other I currently own. My other holders just can't handle the weight of the Note 8. It works well, looks good and I love the simple design. It works well with the air vents on my Subaru Impreza hatchback. I don't really want to sacrifice my pop socket because I have small hands, but I love my phablets. So the solution is to just change the cases to Otterbox Commuter or something thinner while using that and then switch back to the +Pop Socket select case. never mind The pop socket simply creates too much space between the phone and the ends of the device's arms, causing it to slide out. Not a very comfortable fit for the Defender either. But it's worth swapping out the cases to get a decent car mount. I hope this helps anyone looking for specific information about the Note 8. Yes, it fits the Note 8 and the legs take the weight. Just beware of bulky cases and beautiful pop sockets!
