Update 2: Since I still had time for the 1 year warranty that the manufacturer proudly boasts, I contacted customer service and explained the situation to see if I could get replacement parts. It's been about a week now and I haven't received any reply from them. There isn't even an auto reply to let me know if anyone is looking into the case. Update: The back of the chair is completely bent and broken. Every time I try to recline, the back of the chair literally flips over. I would recommend a different product. The hinge that connects the bottom and back of the chair is incredibly weak. I don't know if this is an issue with my batch or the entire product line, but when I recline I hear the linkage click and my chair tilts from the top of the chair's back rather than off the axis. I need a whole back to replace it
