I bought this set as a starter disk for our local Headstart program so I haven't tried it myself but it feels a bit light but will do the trick . They're certainly not waterproof, but they offer some protection from the cold. The color is cute and bright, so this set is suitable for a child. For the money this set is good considering you get a hat, scarf and gloves. The item was shipped quickly and arrived with no problems.
