    Broken rubber band

I bought a pair of these a few years ago and they were great! I recently bought a second pair and was very disappointed this time. The elastic strap used to tighten around the shoulder popped out of the plastic part on the first try. I sent them back and asked for a replacement. When a replacement came my daughter wore it several times and the same strap broke again.

    Pros
    • Easy to put on, easy to take off, easy to wash!
    Cons
    • Very cute mitten but unfortunately fell apart after a few weeks of use.

    great winter gloves

I love these gloves for my preschooler! Warm, easy on and off, waterproof, wide range of colors and patterns. They hold up well in the cold Chicago winters when they play a lot in the snow. My son is usually very resistant to gloves but they are soft and very flexible and he really enjoyed wearing them. Next winter I will buy another one for my younger child.

    Pros
    • Great quality exactly as pictured, very happy she will be using them this winter and they look just like next!
    Cons
    • Son muy grandes para una 👧🏻 2 years ago

    Semi-elastic!: my rating

I searched and searched for mittens for my 18 month old, something I could slip on easily without the elastic around the hand pocket opening. You are perfect! The bottom of the handbag opening has an elastic band, but the top does not. I quickly put them on the kid, tightened the wrist strap and voila, they stayed!

    Pros
    • I love these gloves. Keep my 5 year old daughter's hands so warm and they are definitely waterproof.
    Cons
    • My daughter has worn them twice and they are completely torn. Of course it's coming back out the window!

    Band broke on first use

Not very happy with this purchase. First, they fit snugly around the wrist and are a bit difficult to put on (and my baby is only 7 months old). Second, the first time I used them, the strap handle broke off (see photo).

    Pros
    • Keeps hands warm
    Cons
    • May not be reliable for children with sensitive skin

    Not waterproof good for me

These gloves fit my daughter perfectly! I liked being able to undress her in her arms. But they couldn't handle our typical heavy and wet snow. My hands got wet in just a few minutes.

    Pros
    • Recommend!!
    Cons
    • Mittens may not be of any other color or design.

Don't be fooled by appearances of functionality

Here is an experienced mother of a preschooler. These mittens look comfortable to wear (ie fit over a baby's arm and over a coat sleeve) but are too tight for that. And the super useful quick spring feature is a joke as it's super easy to turn off.

    Pros
    • Great, warm and comfortable to wear. They fit easily over our daughter's coat. They stay and keep their hands dry.
    Cons
    • Fits good

    GREAT PRODUCT good for me

They're really nicely designed, but I've changed two pairs in three months. I thought the seam tear on the first pair was a defect so I returned them and bought another pair, but the next pair had a seam tear in two more places. Unfortunately.

    Pros
    • Perfect fit for my almost 2 year old son! Highly recommended
    Cons
    • Mittens must not be combined with other winter clothing.

Keeps baby's hands warm and cozy

Love the fact that it's utilitarian. Covers the wrist (cool!), snaps together (great so you don't lose one), and protects your hands from wet and snowy conditions.

    Pros
    • Our second pair of these. AMAZING for our toddler at her outdoor school.
    Cons
    • The fit was broken and the thumb hole was almost impossible to fit through.

    bought a kid for snowmobiling

They are cute and fit well over the sleeve of the jacket, keeping the wrists warm and keeping the snow out. But her fingers are still cold. I also folded the mittens in half. Not intended for long walks outdoors.

    Pros
    • The best gloves for toddlers without thumbs. Easy to turn on and off
    Cons
    • May not be breathable enough causing hands to sweat

Began to fall apart after two months

My twins spend at least two hours outside playing in the snow every day and we live in Alaska so it was snowing in October when I got these mittens. They fit great and keep your hands warm, but they are already falling apart on the outside, I pulled off part of the handle on one of the mittens on the pink pair and then the seam came open over the small buckle on both, luckily I can do it wear winter jackets over this piece to keep the snow out, didn't get in the mittens and could still use it…

    Pros
    • The watermelon pink star design is sure to appeal to young girls and will add an extra element of fun to their winter outdoor pursuits.
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for outdoor activities

The best thing I found: my review

My four year old has tried on many mittens by now. We've had plenty of wet, cold fingers over the years, but not with these! Cute, well made and keeps him warm and dry. By preschool age, he should be able to put them on himself, or at least not be able to take them off, and they stay. They stay dry even in sleet and I haven't seen them get cold yet. The temperature we used them at is only around 20 degrees, so I didn't test them at lower temperatures. I even bought them for my nephew!

    Pros
    • Easy to put on and tighten. Waterproof and kept my son's hands warm
    Cons
    • Some kids may not like the feel of Thinsulate isolation.

    Good but not the best.

These work fine. Two things: First, they're not that waterproof. I bought these instead of stone gloves because they are very expensive. They don't have a double waterproof palm lining. Second, when my child pulls their hands out, the fabric gets pulled with it, making it difficult to put back into the mitten. It's good for the price but for my kids in inclement weather I would personally choose the stonz. .

    Pros
    • For children up to 2-4 years
    Cons
    • Cannot withstand heavy snowfall or rain

    Good buy for the price

I ordered 2-4 for my almost 3 year old. They're a bit big, but work great. The first day we used it and tried to tighten the cord around his jacket it broke. otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

    Pros
    • These are great warm mittens. Pretty easy to put on and the big cuffs keep the snow out.
    Cons
    • I like how the design keeps the snow out. But found that they are not warm.

Cheap drawstring on a good pair of gloves

I wish I could give this 5 stars. My 3 year old son played them in the snow for 2 hours yesterday without complaining of cold hands (usually the reason he goes in). I used them again this morning and the cord snapped and went back to my wrist.

    Pros
    • Perfect for my two year old
    Cons
    • Mittens may not be stylish enough to be worn in style.

Great outer layer for cold weather

These mittens are perfect as outerwear for our 21 month old baby! they mostly kept his hands warm while we drove the snowmobile. We saw that after about an hour his hands were getting cold at the fingertips so we put another fleece glove under him and then it really helped to keep him warm.

    Pros
    • Warm and beautiful. Keep it handy, don't fall off. Snow doesn't get in. Super cool glove!
    Cons
    • You are sweet but difficult to understand. My 4 year old refuses to wear them.

    Just give my review.

We live in Alaska and the temperatures here in the winter can be very harsh on my little one. I was looking for a pair of mittens that were easy to put on. I have tried other mittens and they were difficult to put on. It was like a fight! I love these mittens because you simply place them in your child's hand and fasten the strings to keep the gloves snug. Keeps my baby's hands warm! The quality is great too!

    Pros
    • Great, I love that the toddler size doesn't have thumbs which makes it so light. Keeps hands warm and dry and they stay on
    Cons
    • The pink color of watermelon may not appeal to all children.

Excellent - use daily for woodland gardening

We bought this brand of gloves for my daughter when she was in preschool and they are really great. She has been attending preschool and outdoor daycare for the past 4 years and they last, stay, are comfortable, waterproof, warm and easy to work with with a variety of layers for cold weather outdoor play.

    Pros
    • You are perfect! Take it easy and stay. They are highly recommended for small children
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for children with larger than average or smaller hands

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Cute and functional

Bought these for my dinosaur obsessed niece and they are her new favorite winter mittens. Will keep her warm and dry even after a snowball fight, and the longer flared cuffs make it easy to tuck her coat in and around depending on how she wants to wear it.

    Pros
    • Easy to put on and take off, my toddler loved them.
    Cons
    • May not provide enough support for children to hold on to things

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good concept, but the liner is turned inside out

The seam came undone a second time when my 4 year old daughter put on mittens. Hoping to order another pair and not repeat the same ones otherwise we really like them.

    Pros
    • granddaughter loves her
    Cons
    • The inside of the mittens is not connected to the outside which causes them to roll over every time my little one takes them off.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

not very pretty in my opinion

TEN STARS! My 3 year old goddaughter loves them! Super warm and won't fall off. It's nice to support a Canadian company with quality products!

    Pros
    • Stylish, warm and comfortable for my 3 year old.
    Cons
    • Mittens are not easy to clean
