I was looking for a bag that could fit most of my gear for vacations and other travel. Previously, I would either take a small subset of my gear or lug my big storage bag using the shoulder strap. But that proved to be a pain in the neck (quite literally) when going from one airport terminal to another to catch a connecting flight.So I looked at a bunch of travel bags. Specifically I wanted one that had wheels and could fit my four primary lenses, plus one or two camera bodies, my iMac Pro, iPad, and all the related accessories. Attaching a monopod or tripod would be nice, but not a must-have, as I don't always travel with them. After a lengthy comparison, I selected this bag in time to take it on our cruise of Alaska. We just returned and I have to say that i friggin love this bag!The bag fit easily into the overhead storage compartments of all the planes we were on, except the small 30-passenger prop plane on the last leg of our return trip, where I had to gate-check it. No problem. In the bag I had a 18-200mm walk around lens, a 17-50mm f/2.8 landscape lens, my 70-200mm f/2.8 and my new Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary lens. I also had one camera body, a speed light, the ball head for my monopod (the monopod itself was in my checked luggage) my iMac Pro, my iPad, and the usual assortment of spare cards, batteries, cables, chargers and a couple of shoulder straps.Even with this load, rolling the bag was a breeze due to the very low center of gravity. Light as a feather, actually. And after we got our checked luggage, I attached the shoulder strap, which fit conveniently over the rolling handle of the suitcase, for a piggy-back setup that was effective but a bit awkward on escalators. Using the elevator might be a better option when using the piggy-back setup.The bag has zippers that can accept a TSA-approved lock. I used a single lock to secure the two main openings. There is also a zippered opening on top which we used for passports and boarding passes. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this purchase.
