I bought this external hard drive to reuse a broken Apple Time Capsule drive. It's been a great performer so far. After clipping my existing drive into the MobileSTOR tray and inserting the tray, the drive booted up immediately and installed on my iMac with no issues. It runs quieter and cooler than other cases I own. The case is well built and its aluminum body fits my iMac very well. There are cheaper cases on the market, but this one has multiple connectivity options: USB 3, FireWire, and SATA. I believe you can also get spare cassettes so you can change discs. With all these features and good looks, MobileSTOR is worth the extra money in my opinion.
