I don't write many reviews and I'm not affiliated with Revain or the brand's maker. I bought these for my 18 year old Vesti. He has poor eyesight due to cataracts and is struggling with the bright sun and wind outside. When outside, he would "shudder" and/or wince as if he thought something was coming his way. When I held him, he would just bow his head and close his eyes. I tried them on a whim and with the last of my strength to calm the old man down. I am very happy to report that my senior dog who hates accessories is very comfortable in them. The main thing is to help him! Now he goes on a boat trip with his head held high and his ears pricked, without once lowering his head or closing his eyes. He wears them when he's outside but takes them off when he's ready to go inside. The quality is great, especially for the price. The goggles are made of durable rubberized plastic that is lightweight and comfortable. There are two soft elastics, one fastens under the chin and the other fastens behind the head/ears. They sit well on his eyes. The straps can be easily adjusted even when worn. I recommend making sure to move the fur away from the eye area when wearing it. I made this mistake after he crashed into the table, not realizing his mech covered his eyes and then closed his goggles. Fixed very quickly! I trimmed his eye area a bit to keep the ragged fur from getting caught between them and checked again after dressing to make sure the fur was smoothed away from the eye area. Overall, I highly recommend these glasses for older puppies with vision problems. I suppose they are also good for younger ones when they need accessories and need sun or wind not to disturb them. My younger dog wasn't happy when I tried them on, just yanked them off with his paw and threw them away. So grateful the old man realizes that they help him and find comfort.
