Review on ๐Ÿš€ Unleash Virtual Reality with HTC VIVE Cosmos by Truong Anh Quan แ Œ

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

This is the third VR set I have at my disposal, before that there were PSVR and HP WMR Headset. In terms of image quality, Cosmos certainly wins - no grain, no pixel grid, an excellent, juicy picture. I myself am surprised, to be honest, I did not expect any revelations. True, SweetSpot is not very large, the picture will always be slightly out of focus at the edges, but you get used to it. Headphones are just top, the sound is amazing, voluminous, you can not even press the speakers to your ears, but in the farthest position, just turn them at the right angle. I like everything, there is nothing to add here. The helmet itself sits on the head quite comfortably, it does not press on the bridge of the nose. Not heavy, easy to adjust the position due to the headband and belt. True, the headband here is still a minus, the mechanism is simple - we twist-unscrew, twist-twist. Previous helmets had the most convenient feature of a quick release mechanism. The controllers are small, comfortable, lie perfectly in the hands, not the lightest, but this is rather a plus, this weight is pleasant and adds a little realism to VR. The shape allows you to bring your hands quite close in VR and perform paired actions without any problems, for example, reload a weapon. Tracking. Everything is in order here, the controllers do not lag, do not freeze, you can safely put your hands behind your back, lose sight of them, no problem. Some lags begin if you hold a weapon in two hands, i. E. when the controllers are on the same line, but these are very minor sorrows. Summing up. In PSVR, I didn't like the controllers and the lack of tracking. In the HP WMR, again, the shape of the controllers and the tracking issues slowly became annoying over time. Vive Cosmos, at the moment, can be safely called a good helmet, devoid of any blatantly annoying shortcomings. In a trifle, of course, you can dig in, but this is the situation now with absolutely all headsets on the market, we simply have not lived up to the ideal VR yet. Until then, you can safely use the Cosmos, I took it - and did not regret it. So - I recommend!
