I really didn't expect them to sound so impressive. Rather, I thought they were respectable, appropriate; I thought they were just what they needed and no more. But, um, they sound great! Indeed. Make sure you use the most appropriate ear cups so they fit your ear snugly. I tried the small ones first but found that while they went in easily they didn't close completely and didn't stay in place well. Switching to Medium fixed the seal and helped them stay inside, although it didn't completely resolve the latter. Once well sealed, the sound was very good. I like to use acoustic guitar instrumentals for testing because it gives you a good idea of the bass, mids and highs and how they play. Unsurprisingly, they're strongest in the mids, but bass and treble were definitely not lacking, and the overall sound was remarkably warm. I learned a valuable lesson today: Don't discount a low cost just for price. Try it Sound: 5/5 External noise: 5/5 (with the right ear pads and a good seal) Fit: 3/5 (even with the right ear pads they will eventually slip out) Battery life: 5/5 (I use them daily for a work week, just throw them back in the suitcase after lunchtime walks, and more.) Briefly about the guide. it's a bit cryptic. Let me simplify this a bit. Once you receive them, put the earbuds in the case and charge them. When you take the earbuds out of the case, take them both out at the same time and wait for them to pair with each other automatically. All you have to do is pull them out and wait at the same time. Then connect it to your device as usual (search for H9 on your device). Ready. That's great too. I definitely recommend them.
