Don't believe it when it says "Universal Stitching". I have a Honda Civic Si Hatchback (EP3) and this did not fit. I tried cutting some slits hoping the ring would go over the ring but the bottom wasn't wide enough. So in the end I just took my old spare shoe as a template and cut it in half. It ended up idling BUT as soon as I started shifting gears the shift fork came loose. But in the end I expected this product to fit my car, not to the point where I literally had to cut and re-sew it when it was advertised as 'universal'.
