I'm a bit baffled and frustrated by the unanimously positive reviews of this thing, even though it's a GREAT concept. At 6" width, it's just too thin for any of my surge protectors to actually fit in when they're loaded down with AC adapters. I bought it together with Belkin 12-Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector with 8 ft. Cord, Telephone and Coaxial Protection here: http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B000J2EN4S as this was in the Frequently Bought Together section.The Belkin 12-Outlet Surge Protector barely fits into the box, but is shallow enough to accommodate wrapped up cables. I imagine you would have to buy right angle coaxial adapters to fit coax cable in there, but I'm not sure of the spacing (as I have my box closed at the moment).

This is a great product for hiding tons of cables and adapters. HERES WHAT YOU REALLY NEED TO KNOW:When you open the CableBox, there is a flyer for social media on the inside bottom. As you remove it, be VERY CAREFUL to pull up as much (if not all) of the adhesive holding the flyer, WITH the flyer. This product is really a plastic box with a fantastic pitch. And as a box, it's not even that nice. Its walls are thin and you can see color inconsistencies on the lid. But it delivers. You can easily fit a power strip and all the cables you need inside. If you bundle your wires using twist or cable ties, it's not that hard to fit two power strips in there. I have my TV, receiver, blu-ray player, streaming device, universal home control hub plugged into a power strip. This is a good product and serves it purpose. If I found a need to have a hole in the side, I'd simply drill one. The only problem I have is that I shove so many cords in that they push against the top, subsequently pushing the top up. This could be solved with a lid that locks or clicks in. These simple little boxes are great for what I needed, getting a clean look. The plastic is thicker than what I expected, it's plenty sturdy enough. The lids fit tight with no issue either. This works a lot better than I expected. I also thought it would be a lot harder to work with than it was. Great product for what it's supposed to do. Cleans up power supplies and wires great. My bigger 12 prong power supply can even fit in it. These are great if you own a cat or dog to help hide and protect your cables and wires.

This one little box has made a huge difference in my home office. Cables were everywhere. No only was it unsightly, but the cords attract a LOT of dust.
