Very cheap price! Sturdy but not too difficult to press. This is especially important for feeding my jumping spiders live insects, as they only prefer live crickets. And these tongs won't crush them. They're strong, but you can be more precise about how much force you're putting on them because they're not too stiff. They appear to be well made, but lack processing. The edges are a bit sharp. Some parts are serrated, but not enough to cut. I could take a star but if you go to the big pet stores a pair of pliers of the same quality but a little more polished costs over $10. They cost less than $8 for 2 tongs. So their cost compensated for their small flaws. They can be too flexible for larger prey like snake mice. However for my use they are exactly what I need as I need precision. I'll probably just sand the edges with 150 grit sandpaper.
