I bought and used this nozzle on carpet stairs. It DEFINITELY served the purpose and completed the job to my delight! Since I can actually see what's going into the canister, I now KNOW the dog hair from the previous one is completely gone. Before that, I vacuumed and combed dog hair for two months! We don't have any pets and the previous owner had a long haired husky. Hair was EVERYWHERE! This little device helped my ladder completely. Before that I vacuumed the stairs several times without and apparently didn't lift hair and dandruff deep into the carpet. Now everything is gone. I'll call someone to wash my hair! :-)
