They seem to be of high quality for washing machine bags. They are very pretty - not your standard boring laundry bag. It's a plastic zipper, but all three pockets have a very smooth zipper that works well. Quality shows in the assembly. These zippers are well stitched at the end (the open end of the zipper) to prevent the zipper slider from slipping off and breaking the zipper, there is no gap between the end zipper and the fabric. When the zipper is closed, there is a small elastic area that the pull tab can be tucked into to prevent the zipper from opening and snagging on anything during the wash. The zip is silver colored but appears to be plastic rather than metal and has a colored (to match the color of the zip/pocket) rubberized coating which also protects the zip. to be obsessed with sth There is a large branded loop for easy hanging after use. Mostly they are big. I once bought a bag specifically for bras, and I don't think two pairs of children's socks, even poor quality, would fit in it. If they fail after use I will upgrade but I don't expect a problem - very happy with this purchase
