I have never owned a drill and this drill had good reviews and it was the only drill I could find with the 5/16 drill that I needed . It doesn't come with a bag for storage but comes in a nice plastic tray in a cardboard box that's good for storage. The battery arrived half charged. It's easy to charge, just plug the battery into the charger yourself and the indicator will turn green when it's done. It's pretty light and easy to put bits in. When I was looking for maple syrup in my maple tree in the yard, it was gone a little, but it was drying up the hole. The drill wobbled a little about halfway through. When I used the reverse function to take it out of the wood, the bit didn't spin at all and the bit popped out of the bit when pulled. So I had to use the drill forward function and just slowly pull the drill back and everything worked fine. All in all, I'm happy with it, although I haven't used it for long. If the bits had hex shanks I don't think I would have a problem getting the bit out of the wood. Although you can always split the bits. So I discontinued this drill π for now.
