I bought this set for my 3 year old daughter. At first I was so happy when I saw the tree, it seemed strong and beautiful. That's where it ended. My husband tried to assemble it and it was a nightmare. The screw holes are too big for the screws, the pre-drilled holes don't match up and all you have to do is connect this with an Allen key. Of course, since you're trying to put these screws in holes that don't line up, the screws will now come loose. After about an hour and a half we were given a rickety table and two chairs that were not safe to sit on. I contacted the company and after informing them of my problem, they had the audacity to say I could keep the set and get a 15% discount! Well it would be great if the set was useful to me or someone else, but it's ready to be thrown away! I would never give that to anyone and I wouldn't leave it to my child. The slats of the chairs fit into these small wooden pegs and also slide out. I told the company I can't even take the kit apart because the screws were so chipped and they still haven't received it and told me to send it back and order a replacement!? WHY SHOULD I DO THIS? So if you're willing to spend 2 hours putting it together and then another week of emails and phone calls trying to fix things (which I'm still working on) then this set is for you She. If you want something safe for your child, buy something else! I'm still watching!
