I needed a monitor to mount my Ninja V with cage. This is an essential accessory, especially when using a stabilizer bar. You need to make sure your subject is in focus and since I shoot with manual focus (due to the lens used) this setting is ideal. I like the mount's ability to rotate the monitor to the desired angle as well. It helps me when I'm hanging or standing upright. I did a little run to keep an eye on the issue and the mount has held up great. The monitor hold and lever dials for the RS2 also feel great. One caveat: the cold shoe mount seems like a great option, but I don't know if I'll be using it that often. The cameras have 3 sides to keep the mini flashlight/microphone/accessory from sliding, in this case only 2. That has to be considered but overall it was a wonderful purchase for me.
