This case would be just fine for someone who carries their phone outside (belt clip etc).I carry mine inside pockets.One major problem in all cotton pockets is lint and cotton dust, and this gets inside under the transparent film, both under the screen protectos and the back, and within 3-4 days the phone will look as if it spent a year undre a dusty sofa.And while after disassembly (which is a bit involved - the screen protector needs to be pryed out first) the screen protector seems to be OK after having been cleaned, the back cover sustained lots of abrasions. And not from the outside as one would expect, but from inside, which is very surprising. I use isopropyl alcohol to clean the surfaces and I could not get rid of those abrasions which I first thought to be compacted dust.The case is still here after 1-1/2 years and I will keep using it as it does provide adequate drop protection, but if you are like myself, a in-pocket phone carrier (and you wear cotton-based pants - I could not be sure about the others) - you might want to look for a different case.
