Literally as described!

I wanted to wait a week to review this product. When it arrived the installation was very easy and straightforward (some people may need help with the desktop mount as it is quite heavy and strong). As I will be studying medicine very soon I needed an ultra wide monitor for all the tasks I know I will do. After literally WEEKS of research (i.e. youtube, reddit, google, amazon reviews, etc.) I decided this monitor was mid-range for value for money - boy were you right! I connected it to my M1 Macbook Pro (see picture) and the factory settings are very good. However, I did a screen calibration which tuned the monitor even better! I really like this monitor and I don't think I can go back to regular monitors after that. I wish it had a USB-C connection, but I still can't complain since I'm using a USB-C to DP 1.4 cable. NOTE. Macbook M1 may have external monitor issues - it's not a monitor issue, it's a Mac issue. The workaround I use is hot corners (google if needed) and increasing the screen timeout to 30 minutes. If you manually put your MacBook to "sleep mode" when you shut it down, you can also wake it up on an external monitor without having to plug/unplug USB-C and/or reboot like many people do. Problems with. Finally, buy a USB-C (Thunderbolt) to DisplayPort 1.4 cable if you're using a Mac. This allows you to get the claimed 75 Hz; Otherwise, if you're using a USB-c to HDMI connection, you're limited to 50Hz (still looks good, IMO).
