I'm 54 so I've been shaving my legs for about 40 years. Stand up. For 40 years I have either stood and leaned forward or stood and raised my foot to lean against an available ledge or wall. Ever since I was in my 50s I thought it might not be the safest way, but I didn't want to admit to myself that I couldn't do it anymore, so I stopped and staggered. .Now my youngest goes to college, I'm about to be an empty nest (I don't want to talk about it!) and I was like, I'll slip and fall in the shower and pass out under the water and cut myself with my razor in the fall, right What do I want to do when nobody's home. So I bought this seat (which btw had 3 teardrop drain holes). Oh god, where has it been all my life? And WHY, WHY didn't I buy it sooner? I love it. It stays in the corner when I'm standing and cradles my 50-year-old butt comfortably and steadily when I want to sit down. NATURALLY it is perfect for shaving, on the contrary it makes shaving much easier. But it's good for a lot of other things! A few things I've used it for: sitting and sloshing hot water over strained old lady's neck muscles, sitting to peck my nasty old lady's legs, sitting while I wait a stupid 5 minutes while doing my hair thoroughly condition my dry old lady . , and sit down to take a deep breath in the comfort of the rainforest after chatting up college with an ex. Feel free to customize this list to suit your needs. CONCLUSION: Seriously, this is the best thing I've had in my heart in decades.
