Took about a month and then switched. While not as intuitive as just using your hands, it lathers well enough and softens skin for a shave. I had to fiddle with the intensity setting with the app for a while before I settled on 10. The app didn't really give much direction so it was just trial and error. The default of 1 was a pathetically weak clean. Works great although you want to use a cleaner that is free of solids and consistent throughout. Otherwise things will get stuck or the silicone will be scratched. Be careful with cleaning products, which also leave marks.
