Not sure if they are waterproof or not

Works great! They require 3 AAA batteries to operate in each radio and are not included, but once installed you will find that they are amazing! They are so light that adding batteries more than doubles their weight, which means they really are very light! The belt clip works well and is durable enough to withstand the abuse of cutting and removing a thick leather belt as many times as I've tried and shows no signs of wear. The sound quality is comparable to any other low-end walkie-talkie. They come with a necklace style strap which actually works great due to its light weight but I used it to tie to my belt. Need to pull further than the harness will allow? Light! The strap has a quick release! The only thing I don't like is that you have to remove the belt clip to put the batteries in, but it's very easy and you won't be doing it very often because the batteries last a long time even with kids. because it turns off automatically when not in use! Fiction! To remove the battery cover, there is a small screw on it. It sounds like that screw could easily be lost, but it's stuck! You can't lose it! And it comes with a screwdriver so you don't have to look for it! It feels like their creators have been making them for ages and know every complaint anyone has ever had and have fixed them all! The instructions are difficult and worth reading for that reason alone, but they are missing one important piece of information. are they even waterproof? If this turns out not to be the case I will update this and tell you what happened as I live in Florida and go fishing a few times a week and will take them.
