Review on WEEKENDER Mattress Protector Waterproof Barrier Bedding by Chris Drury

Loyal customer: Bedding

We have a lot of double beds in our house and several children who wet the bed. I buy them bit by bit until I can cover all our mattresses and also get extras and replace all our old "plastic" covers. I've been using this type of fabric in cloth diapers for 12 years. When I first started making diapers, fabric was very hard to come by - we either had to import it or order it from just one company in the US. I've joined online co-ops to order fabric so we can keep the cost down to a reasonable amount. I remember thinking at the time how nice it would be to have mattress pads made out of this fabric. So I'm excited to see it finally hit the market. The fabric is soft, not crunchy, and will last at least a few years (we don't wash them several times a week like diapers, but they do need to be washed regularly). Unlike plastic cases that tear easily, this fabric is a thin layer of polyurethane laminated to a polyester fabric. It expands and moves together as a unit. The sides are deep and the elastic is great making it easy to stretch and pull over the mattress. I love how thin it is and how easy it is to care for. Plus they work great! The price is unbelievable.
