The shoes came with a regular lace and a long lace. I contacted the seller to see if the laces could be replaced. I was told that the laces are sewn into the shoes. I was offered a 20% refund which I happily accepted. I was very happy with the customer service. I loved how comfortable these sandals were! I wore them without the cushioning insert and liked how I felt the ground as I walked. I have wide feet and may have been the first wide toe shoe I ever wore. I'm used to foot pain from shoes (bursitis and tailor's bursitis) but not in these boots - I felt like my feet were healing on their own with every step I took. However, after three months of almost daily use (I try to walk at least 10,000 steps a day) the shoe has one hole in the top and two holes in the sole. Now I can't wear them anymore because my feet get wet. Also, these are definitely not winter shoes and they are not made for rain or snow. So I'm back to "normal" shoes at least for the winter and I'm not happy about it. I'm also not thrilled that these shoes only lasted three months. I think they should have lasted longer.
