P6 MP3 Headless Multi Pack Gauge Bundle Review

This range of nails was recommended with the Makita AF353 nailer. Pins 3/8 and 1/2 will not work in Makita nail pullers. The remaining lengths fit me. I don't know why this information was not included as the product was recommended along with the Makita nailer.

I received these different sizes for my new Makita nailer. They worked great, but be aware that many of the strips are shorter than 5/8, which is Makita's smallest size. In the "long" sizes there are 3 stripes each. I think I should have just picked a straight size and gone with it. Not a big deal, but for your information.

The nails seem to hold but they are packaged very poorly. Do you think the biggest nail is at the bottom and the smallest is at the top? It is laid out like steps in a container, so all the small nails will fall to the side and break after one big move. If this was a better package with some padding for protection I would rate it better.

I was told to use a nail gun to hammer corners on the last and shoe. Why didn't I know about this tool? So this was my first kit and thanks to Revain reviewers and the price I felt it was worthy. Some caveats others have pointed out (no pun intended), the package is not as good as I would like as there are multiple sizes to move around. Bought to test in my new 20v nailer. I usually use my 18ga nail gun for smaller projects. I had an air nailer first and upgraded to a 20v 18ga nailer. Then I got 23ga. As this was new to me and I wanted to check the measurements I bought this set. They fit me great, all but the smallest size. It's a bit too small to shoot the ryobi nailer I have. These high quality pins worked great on my new Hitachi Micro Pin Nailer last night. The great thing about these pins is that you can have multiple pins of any length you need without having to buy 10,000 pins of each size. some of them you would rarely ever use. They're reasonably priced, and once you find the size you use most, buy just that size in packs of 10,000. If you're a hobbyist, this one pack will last you a LONG time. 5 star product, downgraded to 4 stars due to frustration getting the pins I wanted out of the packaging. They're packaged just like a single choice pin, which would be nice, but with varying lengths and thin strips, they get tangled when you pull the pins out at the bottom. Using a Grex needle with these Grex needles is great, but be careful where you place your thumb. One of those pins hit an obstacle at the bottom and twisted to pop out next to my fingers. They seem to be working fine. and I checked their thickness with vernier calipers. They appear to be identical to other 23 gauge pens. But in my (brand new) Makita 18V nailer they buckled in the magazine and jammed on every other attempt to fire and insert a pin. It is very tedious (and time consuming) to remove bent pins and pin fragments. On the contrary, later I bought a much more expensive Matabo 23 ga. Pens that work great.
