Excellent fasteners for posts. - Anchor bolt

Very hard wearing. Not installed yet. Cold and windy. I'll report back after the installation. Those are very good brackets. Couldn't use the included anchor bolts as they were metric and not long enough for my use. They were mounted on an inclined rail and shims had to be used to level them, so longer anchors were needed.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Well made and reasonably priced

I ordered these anchor sockets to attach 4X4 studs to a concrete retaining wall. They're well made, but putting something on a concrete wall is tricky. It took a hammer drill to drill holes for the installation and it was hard work. After the holes were set the rest of the installation went well and they work as expected. I'm a happy customer

Difficult conditions! on Bolt Anchors

These days, you can't always be sure of what you're buying. Sellers can be wrong. This is a HIT! As if the pillars were buried in concrete. You can see before and after. Add a few spindles and you're done. Use Case: This is a simple deck attached to a cement porch underneath; with concrete anchors. The house can be blown away by a hurricane, but the deck will still stand. You won't find anything better for $20 with irons. You may need a sledgehammer to place some of the posts.

  • Free for educational purposes

Too thin metal. Concrete screws don't hold.

The metal is too thin and only bends 5 feet with the collar. My gate sags when opening. The concrete supports simply rotated and would not snap except for two. I had to use one of the ones I bought from Home Depot because I couldn't tighten the outside. The kit was a great idea, but you'd better buy the fat mounts that are sold in the big house. places of improvement. Now I have to disassemble the gate and try to pull its hardware out of the holes. You shouldn't come back.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Just what I needed

I was so happy I found exactly what I needed. It's good value for money but you get what you pay for. I bought other parts that I needed for another project of mine and the metal was thicker and you couldn't see the welds where this product was thinner metal and not how well made it was. Although I don't doubt the strength of this product. Installation was easy but make sure you measure everything correctly and get help with any building you have. Photo in progress, more photos will be…

Sturdy Stand Bracket

Used to attach a 4 x 4 frame to a wooden porch. The post has a railing on one side and a gate on the other. The original double ended anchor was too weak so it was removed and replaced with this one. The hinge position was fixed and below the top height of the post bracket, so holes had to be drilled on one side to allow the gate hinges to attach to the post. I was happy with the first one so I bought a second one for a different rack. They are solid, seem heavy and durable. Time will tell how…

Very durable; A Few Things To Know

These excellent anchor feet. We installed the fence and gate combo on concrete that was poured a few months ago and the fence is quite solid. Just a few things to know if you're thinking about getting into concrete. A hammer drill is a must. A standard drill will last forever. I read that it takes a 1/2" drill bit but it won't help. You need a 5/8" concrete drill bit. Finally, and I thought it was true, cedar fence posts are actually 4" x 4", but the opening fits a 3 5/8" x 3 5/8" post. Most of
